Identify the isolation limit.
Supply and return lines, by-passes, drenages and joint collector connections are examined. The closure of a single valve without determining all the routes that can carry energy to the work area should not be sufficient.
Close and discharge.
Suitable valve lock equipment is applied; pressure is controlled from the safe point. In case of need, double blockage, evacuation or positive isolation methods are used defined in the engineering procedure of the operator.
Temperature and repressure
The surface temperature and the possibility of re-pressure are also controlled as the pressure indicator. Zero pressure is verified by authorized persons before opening the line, without safe temperature and flow.
