Start with the learning objective

Do participants need to practise fitting breaker locks and valve lockouts, or work through a scenario involving several energy sources? An unpowered tabletop model can support equipment practice. If the course needs powered demonstrations and status indicators, define those functions in the project specification.

Compare tabletop, powered and game models

The 60 × 60 cm tabletop model focuses on equipment practice. The 160 × 100 cm powered model and large-station model offer a larger working surface. The attention-game model uses a metal ring guided along a wire, with an audible signal on contact. That activity supports engagement; it does not replace energy-isolation training.

Request a clearly scoped quotation

Compare dimensions, isolation points, included locks, accessories, supply voltage, protective measures, portability and training support. Confirm which items in the photographs are included. Simulator practice should be combined with the actual machine’s approved procedures and workplace authorisation, rather than treated as proof that a participant can service any machine.
