Vana lock products
Ball valve locks are fixed in a closed position of the arm. Exhausted valve locks prevent the turn by circling the wheel. But the pencil valve locks limit the trigger mechanism or hand movement. Adjustable and wireless solutions can be used at points where the standard apparatus is not directly applied.
What information is needed when measured?
The length of the arm in the ball valve, the width of the arm and the space around the body; the diameter of the wheel in the drawn valve; the structure of the arms and patches in the butterfly valve should be measured. The size of the two valves with the same DN value may be different because the size of the arm or wheel should not be selected only by the tube diameter.
Materials and field conditions
The chemical environment, the outer field, humidity, temperature and UV exposure affect the product material. The lock product should not damage the valve body, should not leave its place during maintenance period and must be compatible with the used padlock.
Confirmation of product selection
The chosen valve lock must be tested in a closed position in the field; the machine is installed and the hang lock is closed while the valve arm or wheel does not move. The appropriate model and measurement should be recorded in the energy point inventory and the LOTO instructions specific to the machine.
